Aamir Khan’s collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj appears to have hit a snag. The two originally joined forces for a cameo in the Rajinikanth film Coolie, which sparked excitement about a full-fledged superhero project together. Aamir initially announced this project during promotions for Sitaare Zameen Par, expressing enthusiasm for the superhero genre.
However, recent reports indicate that the anticipated film has been halted. Sources close to the situation reveal that Aamir and Lokesh couldn’t find common ground when it came to the screenplay. Aamir prefers to have the entire script in place before filming begins, while Lokesh likes to develop ideas on set, improvising as necessary.
The creative differences between them ultimately led to their decision to part ways, but they remain on good terms and open to future collaboration. As of now, Aamir is seeking new opportunities, while Lokesh is gearing up for a gangster film featuring Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
