On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the senior men’s hockey team after their impressive victory in the Asia Cup. The team triumphed over South Korea with a score of 4-1, marking a special moment as they claimed the continental title for the first time in eight years. The thrilling match took place in Rajgir, Bihar.
Throughout the tournament, India showcased outstanding performance, remaining unbeaten on their way to capturing their fourth Asia Cup title. In the final against Korea, the team took control with goals from Dilpreet Singh (who scored twice), along with contributions from Sukhjeet Singh and Amit Rohidas, making for a one-sided competition.
