BP Appoints New Chairman
BP has announced the appointment of Albert Manifold as its new chairman, effective from October 1. Manifold, who previously led the building materials company CRH, will begin his role as a non-executive director on September 1.
He takes over from Helge Lund, who decided to step down in April following some negative feedback regarding the company’s performance. This change aims to bring new leadership and direction to BP as it moves forward.
