Release of Pune Highway Delayed to May 23
The much-anticipated film Pune Highway will now hit theaters a week later than originally planned. The new release date is May 23, as confirmed by the film’s production team.
In an official statement, the creators explained, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to shift the release of our film Pune Highway. We look forward to seeing you at the cinemas.”
Directed by Bugs Bhargava Krishna and Rahul daCunha, Pune Highway is a compelling mystery based on the well-known play of the same name. The film is produced by Drop D Films and Ten Years Younger Productions, featuring Amit Sadh and Jim Sarbh in leading roles, along with a talented cast that includes Anuvab Pal, Manjari Fadnnis, and others.
The trailer released earlier has already generated excitement, providing a sneak peek into a story centered around the discovery of a dead body that disrupts the lives of three childhood friends.
With powerful performances and a gripping narrative, Pune Highway is set to be a treat for mystery aficionados. The film had a successful premiere at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) last year, receiving positive reviews from audiences.
The change in release date comes amidst several adjustments in the industry following recent events, including a government-led military operation targeting terror camps in response to a terror attack.
Stay tuned for more updates as the film prepares for its upcoming release!
