Versa Controls Unveils New Gauging Products in Pune
Pune-based Versa Controls Measurement Technologies Private Limited held an event at the Sheraton Grand Pune on Saturday, October 24, 2026, to introduce five innovative products for the Indian market. The launch featured wireless on-machine measurement tools and a closed-loop auto-correction system. R R Deshpande, the former Managing Director of Kirloskar Oil Engines, was present to unveil the products alongside Uddhav Chitale, the Founder and Managing Director of Versa.
The event was themed “The Next Wave of Gauging,” highlighting the new products’ focus on enhancing precision, performance, productivity, and sustainability in manufacturing. All five devices are entirely designed and manufactured in India, aiming to provide advanced measurement technology at affordable prices while ensuring that servicing is manageable for local manufacturers.

Wireless Measurement: These portable, battery-operated devices allow users to measure components directly on the machine, eliminating the need to remove parts and thereby reducing idle time and potential handling mistakes.

Auto-Correction System: This innovative solution provides a complete closed-loop system that measures, auto-corrects, and records each part in a single cycle, ensuring consistent quality and full traceability throughout the process.
During the event, Uddhav Chitale emphasized the company’s commitment to affordability and serviceability, stating, “We aimed to make the products affordable and ensure that service remains in the hands of Indian manufacturers. The products we have launched today are also targeted at the global market.”
The new range is particularly suited for the automotive and machine tool industries, where accurate dimensional measurements are essential for ensuring quality. Versa plans to showcase these products to international buyers at the Control exhibition in Germany in May as it looks to grow its presence in Europe and the USA.
Versa Controls, established in 2002 in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, specializes in designing and manufacturing gauging displays, signal conditioners, LVDT probes, and wireless measurement systems used for inspection and quality assurance.
