The cast of the movie Don’t Be Shy is excited to engage with students at Thakur College in Mumbai following its recent launch on Prime Video. Aarushi Bajaj, Piyush Khati, Bianca Arora, and Ansh Duggal will participate in a special session where students can discuss the film, the actors’ performances, and their overall experiences working on the project.
This interaction will be the cast’s first opportunity to connect with the media since the film premiered. It is set up as a direct conversation between the young actors and the college audience, allowing students to ask questions and share their thoughts about the film after viewing it.
During the event, students will first watch Don’t Be Shy and then have the chance to mingle with the young stars. Topics will include their characters, performances, and what it was like to be a part of a coming-of-age romantic comedy.
The event takes place shortly after Don’t Be Shy debuted globally on Prime Video on September 25, 2026. The film is directed by Sreeti Mukerji, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sehaj Kaur Maini.
In the film, Aarushi Bajaj plays Shyamili “Shy” Das, while Piyush Khati portrays Mayank. Bianca Arora takes on the role of Tara, and Ansh Duggal plays Dhruv. Their pairing as the main young cast makes this college interaction especially relevant, given the film’s focus on coming-of-age themes.
Don’t Be Shy is a Hindi romantic comedy produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under Eternal Sunshine Productions. Besides the four leads, the film features Anurag Basu as Shy’s father, along with Neha Dhupia, Kunaal Roy Kapur, and Anju Alva Naik in supporting roles. Alia Bhatt also makes a special appearance in the song “Re Bawri.”
