Gorilla Technology Group Expands into AI Infrastructure with Ambitious Goals
Gorilla Technology Group Inc. is making big moves beyond its traditional software and cybersecurity roles by stepping into the fields of AI infrastructure and GPU-as-a-service. This shift is aimed at capitalizing on the booming demand for advanced technology services in Asia.
Growing AI Opportunities
The company is currently engaged in a major project in India through its Yotta initiative, which involves deploying more than 25,856 Nvidia GPUs. This initial phase could generate over $500 million in revenue, while a broader program known as B300 is estimated to bring in $2.5 billion to $2.6 billion. Gorilla is also exploring additional opportunities for data-center and sovereign AI projects in countries like Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. Management reports that their project pipeline is now worth over $10 billion, but they remind investors that not all prospects will quickly turn into revenue.
Financial Forecasts and Growth Plans
For the coming year, Gorilla is forecasting revenues between $450 million and $500 million. This optimistic outlook is supported by a normalization in profit margins and a focus on higher-margin GPU and AI data-center operations. The company is aiming for gross margins to exceed 50% and EBITDA margins over 20%. They plan to utilize project-level financing to help maintain corporate liquidity while managing expansion.
Update on Major Projects
During a recent conference, CEO Jay Chandan and CFO Bruce Bower shared details about the company’s ongoing initiatives. Chandan revealed that Gorilla had achieved revenues of $74 million in 2024 and projected $101 million in 2025. In the first half of 2026 alone, the company reported earnings exceeding $78 million, signifying nearly 100% growth from the previous year.
The Yotta initiative is particularly noteworthy, being the company’s largest AI infrastructure project yet. Chandan indicated that the first phase of this project is already underway, with future phases set to deliver an even greater number of GPUs. The larger deployment of B300 GPUs is also on track, with expectations for deliveries to start soon.
Expansion in Asia
Gorilla Technology is not just focused on India. The company is strategically expanding its footprint across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia. They’ve initiated a deployment in Indonesia featuring 1,875 servers and around 15,000 GPUs, which is projected for launch by early next year. Additionally, they’re in talks about establishing a data-center campus in Thailand and exploring further opportunities in Malaysia.
Chandan shared that their pipeline now exceeds $10 billion and includes various projects related to AI infrastructure, data centers, public safety, and more. However, he noted that not every opportunity would lead to immediate revenue.
Financial Management and Future Outlook
Regarding financial health, Bower explained that Gorilla’s gross and EBITDA margins were impacted in the first half of 2026 due to currency fluctuations and one-time expenses. He is confident that, moving forward, the company will see these margins improve as they stabilize.
Currently, Gorilla’s cybersecurity division generates gross margins over 30%, while their GPU-as-a-service and AI data-center operations are expected to reach margins above 70%. They project an overall gross margin of over 50% for the upcoming year. Furthermore, Bower mentioned that Gorilla has received a Fitch credit rating of B- with a positive outlook, which will facilitate their financing efforts.
As Gorilla Technologies continues to expand its capabilities, its focus will remain on building sustainable shareholder value by converting contracted revenue into reliable cash flow.
In summary, Gorilla Technology Group is positioning itself as a major player in the AI and data-center markets, with exciting prospects on the horizon. The company is committed to strategic growth while managing its financial health effectively.
