Last October, Vivek shared that he wouldn’t be taking any earnings from his role in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious film, Ramayana, where he stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi. Instead, he pledged to donate the entire amount he would have earned to support young cancer patients.
In an interview, he expressed his feelings, saying, “I told Namit (Malhotra, producer) that I don’t want a penny for this project. I want to contribute to a cause I believe in – helping kids with cancer.”
Vivek also spoke about his enthusiasm for being part of Ramayana and supporting Malhotra’s vision for the film, stating, “I want to support you because I love what you’re doing, and this project could showcase Indian cinema globally.”
