Swiggy Dineout Celebrates Great Indian Ravi Festival with Bollywood Star Ravi Kishan

Swiggy Dineout has launched its latest event, the Great Indian Restaurant Festival (GIRF), but this time with a fun twist. The festival, now called the Great Indian Ravi Festival, features popular actor Ravi Kishan as its star. Running from September 14 to October 24, 2026, this exciting celebration offers diners discounts of up to 50% at over 57,000 restaurants across 84 cities in India. This includes a wide range of venues, from cafes and pubs to family-friendly restaurants and luxurious dining spots.

As part of special offers, customers can receive an extra 10% discount when using HDFC Bank cards, in addition to earning 10% back as DineCash for bookings through Dineout.

The decision to rework the festival comes from Ravi Kishan’s recent rise in popularity on social media, where his dialogues and unique expressions have been widely shared and remixed. Rather than just using Kishan as a brand ambassador, Swiggy Dineout built the campaign around his on-screen persona and the internet buzz surrounding him. The campaign features Kishan in a larger-than-life role, with references to popular phrases like “Jaldi the Late” and “Home from Work.”

The catchy tagline for the campaign, “Discount Followsss My Brothaaaar,” is also inspired by one of Kishan’s viral lines.

Dhruvish Thakkar, AVP Marketing and Revenue at Swiggy Dineout, shared, “GIRF has established itself as one of the biggest dining events in India, and each year we strive to connect with consumers in engaging ways. We have collaborated with popular personalities for GIRF in the past, and this year we are excited to introduce the Great Indian Ravi Festival.”

He continued, “Ravi Kishan is trending right now, and we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to create a festival around him. We believe this new version of GIRF will attract even more diners, as the discounts genuinely follow the brothaa!”

The Great Indian Ravi Festival spans over 84 cities, including major hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, and many more. A variety of restaurant chains, such as Good Flippin’ Burgers, Punjab Grill, YouMee, Mainland China, and Absolute Barbecues, are participating in the event.

To promote the festival, Swiggy Dineout will leverage digital and social media channels, featuring creator-led content and in-app promotions where Ravi Kishan will play a key role throughout the campaign.
