Upcoming Film “Little Thomas” Set for Release on October 23

Seven-year-old Thomas has a simple yet innocent view of where babies come from: his parents just need to kiss. This charming idea is at the heart of the upcoming film Little Thomas, which is produced by Anurag Kashyap and features actors Gulshan Devaiah and Rasika Dugal. The film is scheduled to hit theaters across the country on October 23.

Directed by Kaushal Oza, Little Thomas showcases the adventures of a young boy, played by Hridansh Parekh, as he navigates life in 1990s Goa. This project marks Kashyap’s return to children’s cinema after his animated film Return of Hanuman in 2007.

Gulshan Devaiah, who stars in the film, describes it as the “cutest” project he has ever worked on. He shared, “It’s a heartwarming story about a simple family from Goa. Working alongside Kaushal Oza and Rasika Dugal has been a wonderful experience.”

Rasika Dugal expressed her excitement about Little Thomas reaching theaters, highlighting its commitment to storytelling without unnecessary embellishments. She believes that this film successfully bridges the gap in the market for quality children’s cinema, offering a story that resonates with both kids and adults alike.

Set against the backdrop of a picturesque Goa, the film revolves around Thomas, who longs for a baby brother. When he learns that his parents need to kiss to have another child, he takes it upon himself to encourage them to reconnect in this humorous and heartwarming quest.

Anushka Shah from Civic Studios noted that Little Thomas is a delightful and funny film that addresses the timeless question kids often ask: “Where do babies come from?” She emphasized the importance of bringing high-quality children’s films to Indian audiences.

Director Kaushal Oza reflected on the joyous experience of filming, saying, “The kids brought so much energy to the set, and their chemistry shines through. Little Thomas will make you smile, laugh, and maybe even bring a tear to your eye.”

Producer Ranjan Singh added that this project serves as a reminder of the true essence of filmmaking. He remarked, “It’s a fun story about a boy on a quest for answers. In today’s fast-paced film industry, this sweet story is one that the entire family can enjoy together.”

Mark your calendars for the heartwarming journey of Little Thomas, coming to theaters on October 23.
