BRICS Summit in New Delhi: Key Leaders Gather Amid Global Tensions
This weekend, the spotlight will be on New Delhi as leaders from Iran, Russia, and China convene for the 18th BRICS summit. This meeting comes at a challenging time for the group, which was created two decades ago, as conflicts in the Middle East and Europe put pressure on the alliance.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is also attending the summit, meeting Modi prior to the event. This marks his first visit to India since the Ukraine war started in 2022, indicating the importance of energy and defense discussions.
