Former WWE Star Khali Involved in Minor Accident in Haryana
Dalip Singh Rana, better known as The Great Khali, was part of a minor road accident in Panipat, Haryana, on Saturday. His SUV was involved in a collision with another vehicle at a toll plaza, which led to footage of the incident spreading on social media and causing worry among his fans.
In response to the concerns, Khali took to Instagram to share an update and reassure everyone that he is okay. He described the crash as a small incident and emphasized that there was no serious harm done.
“In an unfortunate event yesterday, my car was in an accident. I’ve been receiving many calls and messages asking how I am, and I just want to say that I am perfectly fine. It’s thanks to your prayers and God’s blessings. It was nothing major, and I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, but since the video went viral, I felt I should clarify. But rest assured, I’m all well. Take care, Jai Hind,” he stated in his video.
A clip from the accident scene shows visible damage on the front of the white car, but Khali is seen walking away unscathed and getting into a black Scorpio vehicle. The footage indicates that he did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
Khali enjoyed a remarkable career in WWE, where he made history as the first Indian-born World Champion. He retired from active wrestling in 2014 and has since dedicated his efforts to support and mentor aspiring wrestlers in India. In 2021, he was honored with a spot in the Hall of Fame, recognizing his contributions to the sport.
