Emraan Hashmi is currently dealing with health issues after being diagnosed with the Influenza A virus and Swine Flu. A recent medical report confirmed his condition. The actor, who recently gained attention for his role in “Awarapan 2,” had planned to attend an event in Bengaluru, but had to cancel due to his sickness.
In a message posted on his Instagram Stories, Emraan expressed his regret for not being able to make it to the show, telling his fans, “Hey Bangalore, I’m really unwell and unfortunately won’t be able to make it to the Bangalore show. But picture khatam nahi hua, bas postpone hua hai! I’ll see you all at Sunburn Union on 12th September, Saturday. Your tickets will remain valid for the new date. Can’t wait to see you guys.” He indicated that he is on the mend and taking the necessary time to recuperate.
This health scare comes at a time when Emraan is basking in the success of his latest film, “Awarapan 2,” which marks his return to a familiar franchise and has been a hot topic among fans.
Despite this setback, Emraan remains busy with his professional commitments. He is preparing for his upcoming project “Gunmaaster G9,” directed by Aditya Datt, which also features Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana. The teaser for this action movie was released recently, and it is set to hit theaters on November 27, 2026.
For now, the Bengaluru event is set for September 12, and Emraan has reassured his fans that it is only postponed, not canceled.
