John Abraham is set to collaborate once again with director Shivam Nair, following their successful project, The Diplomat. They are working on an exciting new action thriller featuring two lead characters.
Details about this film are still under wraps, but sources have described it as a thrilling action entertainer centered on two strong protagonists. John was impressed by the story and quickly decided to join the project. Conversations are ongoing regarding the second lead actor, and production is expected to kick off by the end of this year, aiming for a release in late 2027.
Their first film together, The Diplomat, received positive feedback both critically and commercially. John’s performance as J.P. Singh, an Indian diplomat, was particularly praised as he navigated the challenges of rescuing an Indian girl from a problematic situation in Pakistan.
Since their first project, John and Shivam have been brainstorming several ideas for a new collaboration, finally settling on this action-packed film. It has been noted that this will be one of Shivam Nair’s most commercially ambitious undertakings. The director is widely recognized for his work in espionage thrillers, including Naam Shabana and Special OPS.
This upcoming project marks another two-hero venture for John, especially following his film Force 3, where he stars alongside Harshvardhan Rane. That film is nearing completion and is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2027. Additionally, John will soon be seen in IPS Maria, a movie based on the life of the esteemed former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, set to hit theaters at the end of this year.
