Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana Set for Historic Global Release

Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film, Ramayana, is gearing up for a remarkable launch. The creators have just released the English lip-synced trailer and announced that the film will be shown in an impressive 50,000 international screens. This marks one of the largest global rollouts ever for an Indian film.

The extensive overseas distribution strategy shows the ambition behind Ramayana, aiming to make it a major cinematic event that reaches beyond the usual Indian audiences.

Aiming for Unprecedented Reach

The film’s international release will take place across 50,000 screens—an unprecedented number for an Indian production. This broad distribution is expected to engage viewers from various regions all at once.

Earlier, it was confirmed that Sony Pictures would handle international distribution, but now the spotlight is on the film’s extensive release plan, which is set to be among the largest for any Indian movie.

With the launch of the English trailer, audiences worldwide can now catch a glimpse of this grand adaptation.

Two-Part Saga to Premiere During Diwali

Produced by Namit Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is planned as a two-part series. The first part will debut in theaters globally on November 6, 2026, in celebration of Diwali, while the sequel is set to come out for Diwali 2027.

This ambitious project promises to deliver a stunning cinematic experience, engaging audiences around the globe.
