Cameras Stop Rolling on ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’
The production team has wrapped up filming on the much-anticipated musical family film, Yeh Prem Mol Liya, directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The first wrap photo from the set perfectly showcases the warmth and sense of togetherness that Rajshri Productions is well-known for.
The exclusive image taken in Mumbai features director Sooraj Barjatya alongside lead actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, as well as veteran actor Anupam Kher and various crew members celebrating the film’s completion.
In the photograph, Barjatya holds the clapboard bearing the film’s title, marking the end of filming. Ayushmann shines in an off-white kurta paired with a red stole, while Sharvari looks stunning in a traditional red saree. Both actors share big smiles as they join Barjatya in holding the clapboard, with Anupam Kher closely by their side, surrounded by the rest of the cast and crew in vibrant traditional outfits.
A Modern Rajshri Musical
Produced by Rajshri Productions in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films, Yeh Prem Mol Liya features Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari working together for the first time. This film introduces Ayushmann in the iconic role of “Prem,” a character famously associated with Salman Khan in earlier Rajshri films.
The storyline remains true to Barjatya’s hallmark themes of relationships and family values, yet presents them in a modern way that resonates with today’s audiences.
A Collaborative Reunion
The film also marks a reunion between Sooraj Barjatya and composer Himesh Reshammiya, their first collaboration since Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015. Alongside Ayushmann and Sharvari, Anupam Kher leads a strong supporting cast featuring many seasoned performers.
With filming officially complete, the team is now moving into post-production, aiming for a theatrical release. Yeh Prem Mol Liya is set to hit cinemas on November 27, 2026.
