More than 60 lives have been lost. Lakhs of people have been displaced. Entire families have lost their homes, land, and livestock, and sadly, some have lost loved ones. This happens every year, and it still catches us off guard.”
Alia expressed her intention to use her influence to share information about organizations providing relief and encouraged everyone to contribute in any way possible. She added, “Assam needs immediate relief right now, and it will need support for the long road to recovery. If you’ve been wondering how you can help, I’ll be sharing some ways we can support the relief efforts over the next few days.”
