Fitness Influencer Shares Controversial Views on Weightlifting and Steroid Use

In a recent episode of “Hang Out with Sean Hannity,” fitness influencer Braden Eric Peters, better known as Clavicular, opened up about his journey in fitness and his choice to use testosterone over natural weightlifting methods.

Clavicular shared that he first developed an interest in fitness while using his family’s gym in Hoboken, New Jersey. After reading online about workout routines, he became frustrated with the slow progress he experienced through natural training. He described natural weightlifting as a “complete waste of time,” opting instead to utilize testosterone for quicker results.

“I found out there was no reason to train without some extra help,” he explained. Clavicular confessed that this decision pushed him to secretly acquire performance-enhancing drugs at a young age, which he hid from his parents. He recalled having to intercept deliveries of testosterone when he was just 14 years old, pretending to be sick from school to keep it a secret.

During the podcast, Hannity expressed concern, noting how many parents would react negatively if they discovered their child was using steroids. Clavicular admitted that his parents disciplined him frequently throughout his teen years, and after being expelled from college for his steroid use, he was sent to live with his grandmother.

Clavicular also talked about the consequences of his public posts discussing steroid cycles, which eventually led to his university being alerted about his activities, causing his academic career to come to an abrupt end.

Experts warn about the risks of using testosterone and other steroids, especially for young people. While testosterone replacement therapy can help those with medical conditions, unsupervised use can lead to serious health issues like cardiovascular damage and stunted growth. Medical professionals stress that shortcuts for muscle growth come with significant health risks.

Overall, Clavicular’s story brings attention to the ongoing debate about fitness, steroids, and the potential dangers of using performance-enhancing drugs, especially among teenagers.
