Exciting Updates on Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Eetha’ Release
The teaser for Eetha, featuring Shraddha Kapoor, has generated a lot of buzz following its appearance with Cocktail 2. This has built significant anticipation for the film, which was originally set to hit theaters on August 28. However, it appears that the release date may now change.
According to sources, the producers at Maddock Films are discussing whether to move the release up or delay it. They’ve decided not to stick with the original date of August 28, and an official announcement on the new release schedule is expected soon.
Just last week, four films were lined up for release in the last week of August. The first film to claim this prime spot was Khosla Ka Ghosla 2, featuring familiar faces like Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. Following that, the creators of The Vvan also chose to launch on the same day. Meanwhile, the release of the Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia film has been moved to September 25.
In recent announcements, one of the year’s most anticipated films, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups, is scheduled to release on August 26. With so many films vying for attention during the same week, it was likely that some would reconsider their dates to avoid a crowded release.
There’s speculation in the industry that the team behind Eetha is keen to prevent a clash with Toxic, which could be a wise decision. Both films are expected to perform well at the box office, especially with Eetha likely to do particularly well in Maharashtra. A clash could split audiences, potentially affecting both films’ earnings.
In Eetha, Shraddha Kapoor portrays legendary Marathi artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar, under the direction of Laxman Utekar. The film also stars Randeep Hooda and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, and it’s being produced by Dinesh Vijan.
