Yash Raj Films has announced that Arjun Banerjee will be the new Head of YRF Talent, the company’s talent management division. Yash Raj Films is a well-known and established media company in India. Banerjee comes with a wealth of experience in talent management, live entertainment, and partnerships with artists.
Before joining YRF, he worked at Collective Artists Network for over three years and spent nearly ten years at Exceed Entertainment, where he held various leadership roles. His responsibilities included managing talent and live events, focusing on artist relationships and expanding the company’s live entertainment offerings.
Banerjee’s new role is part of YRF’s strategy to enhance its talent management branch and make a stronger mark in the entertainment industry. He will report to Akshaye Widhani, the CEO of Yash Raj Films.
Widhani expressed enthusiasm about Banerjee’s appointment, stating that the talent landscape is changing quickly, and success requires a strategic and collaborative management style. He noted that Banerjee’s insights and ability to foster strong relationships will help build lasting careers for artists within the team.
Currently, YRF Talent represents several prominent figures, including Rani Mukerji, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ahaan Panday, and Sonam Kapoor, among others.
