The team behind Namit Malhotra’s upcoming film Ramayana has officially announced that the trailer will be released worldwide on July 24, 2026. This film, drawing inspiration from one of India’s most cherished epics, aims to bring its powerful story to audiences around the globe.
Earlier, the creators shared a glimpse of Rama, giving viewers a sneak peek of the film’s impressive visuals and artistic interpretation. This initial reveal generated a lot of excitement and buzz, and with the trailer launch date now set, anticipation is even higher.
Ramayana: Part One is being designed as a grand two-part theatrical experience, aiming to showcase the beloved story through stunning imagery, heartfelt storytelling, and state-of-the-art visual effects. The upcoming trailer is expected to provide fans with a more in-depth look at the filmmaker’s vision.
Upon announcing the trailer release on social media, the production team shared, “From Bharat to the world, the Ramayana trailer premieres worldwide on 24th July 2026.”
This film, inspired by the celebrated epic, features a remarkable cast. Ranbir Kapoor takes on the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, and Yash portrays Ravana. Sunny Deol will be seen as Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey steps into the role of Lakshman.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, in collaboration with the Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The film is set to be released globally in IMAX, with Ramayana: Part One expected during Diwali 2026, followed by Part Two in Diwali 2027.
