Brother of Actor Pankaj Tripathi Injured in Attack in Bihar
Bijendra Nath Tiwari, the brother of well-known actor Pankaj Tripathi, has been seriously injured in an attack in Bihar. The incident occurred in Belsand village, which is governed by the Madhopur police station.
Reports indicate that Tiwari was assaulted with sharp weapons, allegedly due to an ongoing dispute. Initially taken to a local clinic, he has since been moved to Patna for more specialized medical care because of the severity of his injuries.
Sources mention that the attackers may have been lying in wait, targeting Tiwari over an old rivalry. According to media accounts, the incident happened suddenly, with the assailants attacking Tiwari without warning, resulting in critical injuries.
News agency IANS reported that a special police team has been formed to investigate the case and locate the attackers. Following the assault, family members and locals quickly took Tiwari to Model Sadar Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors there described his condition as very serious while they provided initial care.
Due to the extent of his injuries, medical professionals referred Tiwari to a hospital in Patna, where he is now under the care of specialists. As of now, there has been no official information regarding his recovery or current condition.
