Veteran actors Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna are experiencing a great phase in their careers. Sunny’s recent film, Gadar 2 (2023), smashed box office records, and his upcoming projects, Jaat (2025) and Border 2 (2026), have also performed well, solidifying his comeback. At the same time, Akshaye Khanna has gained immense praise for his role as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar (2025).

The excitement is building as both actors are set to star in the film Ikka, which will premiere on Netflix on July 10. Fans might even have the chance to watch the movie in theaters before the official release.

A Twitter account called ‘LegendDeols’ shared that special screenings for fans are planned for July 8 in a few cities, just two days before the Netflix launch. They mentioned that fans should express their interest in order to secure tickets for this exclusive showing.

Upon inquiry, it was confirmed that such screenings are in the works, although the date is still tentative. A source mentioned, “The filmmakers do want to present Ikka on the big screen for fans. The atmosphere of cheering and excitement will make it a memorable experience.”

Ikka, directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, is a courtroom thriller marking Sunny Deol’s first project for Netflix. This film promises an intense clash between Sunny and Akshaye, after many years apart on screen. It tackles serious themes like justice, morality, and the impact of past decisions in a gripping courtroom setting.

The film also features talented actors Tillotama Shome and Dia Mirza. Tillotama plays a public prosecutor determined to achieve justice, while Dia portrays a mother striving to maintain her family’s unity amid rising tensions.

Fans are eager for this thrilling showdown between two beloved stars.
