The buzz around Kala Hiran: Battle of Legacy has intensified following a legal notice sent by Salman Khan’s team to the film’s makers. They claim that the main character bears an unusual resemblance to the Bollywood star. However, producer Amit Jani and director Bharat S. Shrinate insist that their film is not inspired by Khan’s life and that the comparisons are unfounded.

This discussion gained traction after the film’s first-look posters were released online. Many fans on social media noted a striking similarity between the lead character and Salman Khan, especially due to a signature bracelet often associated with the actor. This detail led to speculations that the film might touch on Khan’s well-known blackbuck case.

During an interview with News18, director Bharat S. Shrinate firmly dismissed these claims. He stated that the bracelet is not unique to Salman and suggested that if he wants exclusive rights to it, he should patent it. “This film and our character are not based on Salman. Our character isn’t him; it’s just a film!” he asserted.

Shrinate emphasized that any resemblance is purely coincidental. He compared it to how actors sometimes look like real-life figures, mentioning Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s portrayal of Balasaheb Thackeray, where makeup was used for the likeness. “In our case, we didn’t use prosthetics. Our actor simply looks like Salman. I can’t change his appearance. What can we do? If someone feels upset about this, that’s unfortunate,” he remarked.

He also expressed frustration over the legal action aimed at hindering the film’s release. “Salman Khan isn’t my godfather. He can’t stop me or my career. Ultimately, it’s the audience that will decide the film’s fate. A lot of effort goes into making a movie, and it’s disheartening that we’ve received a legal notice now,” Shrinate explained.

He added, “Sending a legal notice means disrupting all the hard work we’ve put in. He should watch the film first before making assumptions.”

As the discussions and legal matters continue, Kala Hiran: Battle of Legacy remains at the center of a heated controversy, with both sides standing firm in their beliefs.
