Katrina Kaif might be making her much-anticipated return to the big screen. After taking a break from films, rumors suggest she could be starring in Chandni Bar 2, a sequel to the acclaimed 2001 movie, Chandni Bar.
Her last film release was Merry Christmas in December 2024. Despite a quieter presence in recent years, Katrina continues to be a favorite among fans, consistently ranking among the top Hindi film actresses, alongside stars like Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone.
After announcing her first pregnancy with husband Vicky Kaushal in September 2025, fans have been eager for news on her next project. Recent reports indicate that she might take on a role in Chandni Bar 2, which could be directed by Ajay Bahl.
The original Chandni Bar, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and featuring Tabu, received high praise upon its release. While a sequel was confirmed last year, the full cast remains unannounced.
According to an insider, Katrina is in consideration for the film’s cast, and there are hints that Tabu may also be involved. However, no official confirmation has been provided by the filmmakers or the actors.
