Fresh rumors are swirling around Rajinikanth’s eagerly awaited film Jailer 2. New reports suggest that Hrithik Roshan might step in for a significant cameo role that was initially thought to be played by Shah Rukh Khan.
A few months back, it was reported that Shah Rukh was set to make a special appearance in the sequel, planned as a high-energy five-day shoot. However, it seems Shah Rukh had to decline due to other commitments, particularly his focus on King, which is special because it marks the big-screen debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan.
According to a recent update from Hindustan Times, Hrithik Roshan has now been brought on for the cameo. A source shared, “Hrithik is definitely doing a strong cameo in Jailer 2. He plays the role of Rajini sir’s friend who steps in to assist during a crisis. Hrithik will begin filming his scenes this month.”
If this turns out to be true, it will be a special reunion for Hrithik and Rajinikanth, who last appeared together in the 1986 film Bhagwan Dada, where Hrithik had a role as a child artist.
While there hasn’t been an official confirmation from the film’s makers, the news has already sparked excitement among fans. The idea of Hrithik sharing the screen with Rajinikanth has quickly become a hot topic on social media.
In other news, Hrithik made headlines recently with a mysterious social media post that got fans talking. He shared a selfie on Instagram, stating, “Just got asked what’s the kind of role I’m looking for. And I surprised myself when it came to me. Remember Zaffar from Luck By Chance? That’s the one. I’d jump on something like that. But directors only wanna see me play the good guy. Sad.”
This candid remark has led to speculation about the types of characters he wishes to explore in the future.
