Kabuni has introduced an innovative AI coaching platform for cricket during its inaugural Playtime 2026 event in Mumbai. This new training tool harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to provide real-time coaching and performance insights to players of all skill levels.

As part of the launch, Kabuni revealed an exciting roster of “Super Coaches,” including cricket legends like Sourav Ganguly, Shane Watson, AB de Villiers, and Shreyas Iyer. The platform promises personalized coaching through AI analysis, enabling users to train and get feedback directly on their smartphones.

### How Kabuni’s AI Coaching Works

At the heart of the platform is Kabuni PlayOS, a unique technology that tracks and analyzes players’ movements during training in real-time. It assesses critical aspects such as timing, balance, footwork, and alignment, providing feedback to enhance players’ techniques. This technology draws from performance data of professional cricketers, aiming to emulate the structured coaching found in cricket academies.

Kabuni emphasizes that this platform is meant to support, not replace, traditional coaches and trainers. India has been selected as the primary market due to its vast cricket-playing community and established sports framework. The company plans to start with a testing phase in India and collaborate with sports organizations before expanding internationally later this year.

Founder Nimesh Patel shared, “Many young cricketers in India face challenges in accessing quality coaching and development. Kabuni aims to change that. By integrating AI coaching with new youth competitions, we’re creating a space where young players can train, improve, and be recognized, no matter where they are from.”

### New Campaign: “Do You Want to Play for a Legend?”

In addition to the platform, Kabuni launched a nationwide campaign called “Do You Want to Play for a Legend?” This initiative offers players aged 12 to 16 a chance to compete for spots on teams mentored by the Super Coaches. Participants will train using the Kabuni platform, join regional trials, and vie for selection in squads that will compete in a national youth tournament.

The program aims to create more opportunities for young players while offering structured coaching and competitive experiences.
