Rise in Domestic Cooking Gas Prices

June 7, 2026

The Indian government has announced a price increase for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), with the cost going up by Rs 29. This change raises the price of a standard 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi from Rs 913 to Rs 942.

This marks the second price hike in recent months, following a Rs 60 increase on March 7, linked to disruptions in global energy supplies due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.

As cooking gas prices continue to rise, many households are increasingly concerned about the impact on their budgets.

Nationwide Protests Threatened Over Education Minister’s Resignation

June 7, 2026

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has issued an ultimatum to the government after a large protest at Jantar Mantar. They are demanding the removal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan within seven days.

CJP leaders stated that despite a strong public response, there has been no resignation or action taken regarding the minister. If their demands are not met, they warned that protests could spread across the country.

This movement gained traction after India’s Chief Justice referred to young critics of the government in unflattering terms, sparking outrage among the youth.

The party insists that real reform in the education system can only begin with the minister’s removal, citing concerns over alleged irregularities in recent exams.
