Exciting News: Netflix Unveils Trailer for New Film ‘Maa Behen’

Get ready for a wild ride in Adarsh Colony! Netflix has just released the trailer for its upcoming film, Maa Behen, a lively crime comedy filled with chaos, humor, and unexpected twists. The film, featuring a talented ensemble cast, will be available for streaming starting June 4, 2026.

Directed by the skilled Suresh Triveni, known for his previous work on Jalsa and Tumhari Sulu, Maa Behen explores the lives of a quirky mother-daughter trio. The story takes a thrilling turn when they find themselves in a sticky situation involving a dead body that they must hide in their apartment, all while juggling nosy neighbors and wedding plans.

In the newly released trailer, we meet Rekha, played by the legendary Madhuri Dixit, along with Jaya, portrayed by Triptii Dimri, and Sushma, played by Dharna Durgaa. The family’s ordinary day turns upside down when a well-known local member, Gupta Ji (Ravi Kishan), unexpectedly passes away in their living room.

What follows is a hilarious whirlwind of cover-ups, emotional ups and downs, and plenty of questionable choices. As the film humorously points out, “Some families pass down values; this family hands down KAAND!”

Suresh Triveni expressed his enthusiasm for the project, explaining that they aimed to create a story that was both relatable and entertaining. He mentioned, “The film showcases a disorderly family navigating a chaotic situation, leading to plenty of laughter and bizarre scenarios.”

Madhuri Dixit shared her excitement about her role, noting that Rekha breaks the traditional mold of a mother in Hindi cinema. She emphasized that while Rekha isn’t perfect, she strives to do her best for her daughters amidst the chaos.

Triptii Dimri added that her character, Jaya, is the responsible daughter trying to maintain order while getting pulled into the mayhem. She described acting alongside Madhuri Dixit as a truly surreal experience.

Ravi Kishan, who recently gained acclaim from his work on Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, expressed his joy at collaborating with such talented co-stars. He praised Madhuri for her grace and versatility, highlighting the youthful energy of Triptii and Dharna.

Dharna Durgaa also celebrated her debut in a major streaming role, sharing her love for the film’s storyline and the dynamic among the characters.

Maa Behen features a strong supporting cast, including Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh, and Shardul Bhardwaj. The film is produced by Vikram Malhotra and Suresh Triveni.

Mark your calendars for this exciting family-friendly comedy, streaming exclusively on Netflix from June 4, 2026!
