Accenture and Adobe Propel Netomi’s $110M Series C to Enhance Enterprise Customer Experience—TFN

Netomi Secures $110 Million in Series C Funding

Netomi, a platform focused on enhancing customer experiences through automated assistance, has successfully raised $110 million in a Series C funding round. This financing was led by Accenture Ventures, with contributions from companies like Adobe Ventures, WndrCo, Silver Lake Waterman, NAVER Ventures, Metis Strategy, and Fin Capital.

This latest funding brings Netomi’s total investments to over $160 million, further supported by early investors including Greg Brockman, Demis Hassabis, and Mustafa Suleyman.

Puneet Mehta, the founder of Netomi, has an interesting background. Before launching the company in 2015, he worked on automated trading systems on Wall Street, creating technology that processes large amounts of data and reacts quickly to changes—where timing is everything.

Today, Netomi provides services to prominent organizations such as Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, MetLife, Paramount, DraftKings, the NBA, and Ingram Micro. The platform utilizes models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, rather than developing its own underlying technology. Notably, it enhances customer interactions in the United Airlines mobile app, efficiently managing a high volume of requests.

Unlike traditional support systems, Netomi actively observes user behavior and adapts in real time. This proactive approach can resolve potential issues before they become larger problems.

During peak times, such as major sporting events, the platform has impressively handled over 40,000 customer requests per second for DraftKings while achieving quick response times—under three seconds—and maintaining a 98% accuracy rate in understanding customer intent.

Netomi aims to streamline interactions, reducing friction rather than merely managing it. In the competitive landscape, companies like Ada and PolyAI also focus on automating processes for larger enterprises, positioning themselves alongside Netomi.

The funds raised will be directed toward expanding customer deployments and advancing research and development initiatives.
