Aamir Khan Productions’ new film Ek Din is stirring excitement as it prepares for its theatrical release. The recently shared trailer and songs have captivated audiences with their emotional depth and stunning visuals. This romantic drama features Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan, and much of it was filmed in Japan, thanks to a suggestion from Aamir Khan himself.

An industry source revealed that Aamir’s choice of Japan was influenced by his previous experiences with the country during the making of 3 Idiots and Dangal. He wanted to highlight Japan’s breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture in this film.

The stunning locations showcased in the trailer, from serene city views to beautiful countryside scenes, add an appealing atmosphere that complements the romantic storyline. The songs released so far further emphasize the film’s picturesque setting, sparking curiosity about the plot.

Ek Din also marks the return of Aamir Khan to work with director Mansoor Khan after a long hiatus, rekindling one of Bollywood’s most celebrated collaborations. The duo has created iconic films together, including Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, making their reunion much anticipated among fans.

Directed by Sunil Pandey, the film’s combination of Aamir and Mansoor Khan has heightened expectations. Many are eager to see if Ek Din manages to evoke the same emotional resonance as their earlier collaborations.

Produced under Aamir Khan Productions, Ek Din stars Sai Pallavi alongside Junaid Khan in leading roles, with support from Mansoor Khan and Aparna Purohit. With its unique overseas setting, fresh cast, and the return of familiar talents, Ek Din is poised to be a significant romantic release. The film is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
