Shraddha Kapoor Set to Star in Ashneer Grover Biopic
Actor Shraddha Kapoor is gearing up to portray Madhuri Jain Grover in an upcoming biopic centered around Ashneer Grover, the co-founder of BharatPe. Aamir Khan is expected to take on the lead role in this project, which is being developed by filmmaker Rahul Mody.
Sources indicate that Kapoor has been involved with the film from the very beginning. It was determined early on that she would take on the female lead role and she has been actively following the development of the screenplay.
The movie will highlight Grover’s entrepreneurial journey along with the controversies that led to his departure from BharatPe in 2022. This included allegations of misusing company funds alongside his family. Madhuri Jain Grover had previously served as the Head of Controls at BharatPe before her exit later that year.
Rahul Mody has dedicated nearly three years to crafting the screenplay. He is known for his previous work as a writer on the popular film “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.” Interestingly, there are also rumors of a relationship between Mody and Kapoor.
Recently, excitement about the biopic has increased, particularly with reports suggesting that Aamir Khan is considering it as his next project. According to insiders, Aamir has read the script and is excited to be involved, with the film currently in its pre-production phase. Given Ashneer Grover’s popularity, the story resonates well with contemporary audiences.
