KUCHING, Apr 21: The Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) has achieved remarkable success by winning three prestigious international awards at the World Business Outlook Awards 2026. The accolades include Best Tourism Board for Destination Marketing Malaysia 2026, Excellence in Sustainable Tourism Promotion Malaysia 2026, and Leading Regional Tourism Promotion Agency Malaysia 2026.
These awards were presented by the World Business Outlook, a Singapore-based organization that honors those who lead the tourism industry through innovation, sustainability, and effective leadership.
The formal award ceremony is set for November 15 at the Pullman Bangkok, where leaders and innovators from around the globe will gather under the theme “Rewarding the Ultimate Business Excellence.”
This recognition highlights Sarawak’s thoughtful approach to developing its tourism offerings, reinforcing its image as the “Gateway to Borneo.” The board has focused on building a strong brand identity while actively participating in international trade events and promotional showcases.
