Sara Netanyahu Sounds Alarm Over Iran Conflict Risks Amid Growing Antisemitism

Sara Netanyahu Highlights Rising Antisemitism During U.S. Visit

Sara Netanyahu, the spouse of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has voiced serious concerns about increasing antisemitism and the attempts to weaken relationships between Christian and Jewish communities. Her comments came after a four-day trip to the U.S. for the “Be Best” First Ladies’ Summit, an event hosted by First Lady Melania Trump.

In her exclusive remarks, Sara Netanyahu emphasized that extremist groups on both ends of the political spectrum are fueling antisemitism. She pointed out the historical implications of such hostility and urged unity, especially among supporters of Israel.

“Israel has never had a leader like my husband who values the Christian community deeply, meeting with its leaders regularly and promoting a true partnership,” she stated.

During her visit, Netanyahu expressed gratitude for the bravery of those who stand with Israel, calling them “unofficial ambassadors.” She noted an event in Israel attended by Paula White-Cain, a close adviser to President Trump, which reached millions of Christian audiences worldwide.

The surge in antisemitism globally, including in the U.S., was particularly alarming following the tragic events on October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacks resulted in the loss of 1,200 lives in Israel.

Raised in Israel, Sara Netanyahu was influenced by her parents, both educators, who instilled in her a strong connection to the Jewish people’s history and their ties to the land of Israel.

Amid rising antisemitism, various incidents have raised concerns, including attacks linked to antisemitic beliefs. For instance, in one case, an individual attempted to harm a Michigan synagogue while shouting pro-Palestinian slogans.

Sara Netanyahu also mentioned the Trump administration’s legal action against Harvard, accusing the institution of failing to protect Jewish and Israeli students amid rising antisemitic sentiments on campuses.

Describing the current situation, she said, “We are in a critical struggle between good and evil—against those who seek to destroy Israel and the world.”

She expressed her belief that Donald Trump’s leadership was pivotal for Israel, stating that their collaboration is reshaping the Middle East for a better future.

During her time in the U.S., Netanyahu connected with various first ladies, delivered a lecture at the U.S. State Department, and met with notable figures including Senator Lindsey Graham. The summit also focused on technology and its role in education, particularly in enhancing remote learning for children.

Her discussions with tech companies like Microsoft and Meta revealed plans for substantial investments aimed at improving educational technology in Israel, especially in light of recent security challenges.

“We pride ourselves on being a leader within advanced nations for our contributions in technology and values,” Netanyahu concluded. “When the world acknowledges Israel’s positive impact, they turn toward partnership rather than extremism.”
