At the recent event titled “It Starts Here,” Prime Video showcased the first look of the film Don’t Be Shy, which is produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt. While details about the main cast are still under wraps, the movie is slated for release in October of this year.

This imagery hints at themes of friendship, identity, and self-expression, suggesting a coming-of-age storyline. The title Don’t Be Shy emphasizes the idea of stepping beyond one’s comfort zone.
Directed by Sreeti Mukerji, the narrative follows Shyamili “Shy” Das, a 20-year-old who thinks she has her life all planned out. However, she soon encounters unexpected challenges that disrupt her sense of control, prompting her to face new realities.
The film is produced by Eternal Sunshine Production in collaboration with Chalkboard Entertainment. Along with Alia and Shaheen Bhatt, the project is co-produced by Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani. Sreeti Mukerji also wrote the story and screenplay, while Sehaj Kaur Maini contributed to the dialogues and additional screenplay.
