The second season of Maamla Legal Hai, starring Ravi Kishan, will be available on Netflix starting April 3, 2026. The announcement was made on March 5, 2026.
In this upcoming season, directed by Sameer Saxena and Rahul Pandey, Ravi Kishan returns as the lively and outspoken VD Tyagi. This time, Tyagi takes on the role of a judge at the Patparganj District Court, which comes with new challenges and responsibilities.
Ravi Kishan expressed his excitement about the new season, stating that Tyagi is eager to prove himself in his new judicial role, although he knows it won’t be easy. “This season, Tyagi wants to show what he can do as a judge, but it’s a tough job. Every case here is serious, but the approach is quite different,” he said, inviting viewers back into the show’s unique world.
The cast includes familiar faces such as Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, Anant Joshi, and Anjum Batra, along with newcomers Kusha Kapila and Dinesh Lal Yadav.
Written by Syed Shadan, Mohak Aneja, and Tatsat Pandey, Maamla Legal Hai is based on characters created by Saurabh Khanna and Kunal Aneja. The series is produced by Posham Pa Pictures.
The first season made its debut in 2024, receiving a warm reception for its clever and humorous take on court proceedings. Season 2 promises to carry on this theme, featuring Tyagi at the center of engaging and unconventional cases.
