Filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa has addressed recent rumors regarding a legal dispute with Balaji Telefilms, led by Ekta Kapoor, which reportedly affected the shooting schedule of Bhagam Bhag 2.

In his statement, Shaandilyaa explained that he had exercised his contractual rights to terminate his agreement with Balaji Telefilms. He noted that it’s been over two weeks since this notice was issued, and if Balaji had any legitimate legal grounds to contest it, they could have approached the civil court. However, he mentioned, no such action has been taken.

He also responded to allegations of criminal activity, calling them “exaggerated and baseless” and suggested that these claims were attempts to create fear after realizing there was no solid foundation for a legal challenge. Shaandilyaa remains confident in his legal position and is ready to address any accusations through the proper legal channels.

Importantly, he reassured fans that Bhagam Bhag 2 is still progressing as planned, countering speculation that the film had been put on hold due to the dispute. The sequel, featuring stars like Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, and Paresh Rawal, is still on schedule.

Shaandilyaa finished his note by urging others in the film industry to be aware of the situation and to make informed choices when forming professional partnerships. As this matter continues to unfold, the future of the film remains closely monitored.
