Actor Amitabh Bachchan has a beloved tradition of greeting his fans every Sunday outside his home in Juhu. However, last weekend, he was unable to stick to this routine due to shooting commitments. The celebrated star is currently in Hyderabad, where he has started filming for the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD.
On his blog, Bachchan shared his thoughts about missing the Sunday meet. He posted photos of fans who still showed up outside his residence despite him informing them he wouldn’t be there. One of the pictures even included a cute dog among the crowd. He acknowledged their loyalty and shared his apologies for not being able to greet them.
Bachchan also took the opportunity to share some behind-the-scenes images from the film set. He showcased his transformation into his character, Ashwatthama, and included a candid shot with co-star Kamal Haasan. Their collaboration has been long-awaited, with their last project together being Giraftar.
In his message, he expressed joy about working with Haasan again and told his fans that while work comes first, he hopes to meet them soon. As for the sequel, it began shooting after discussions about cast changes, particularly following Deepika Padukone’s departure from the project. Although no official announcement has been made, reports suggest that actress Sai Pallavi might take on her character.
Fans can hold onto the hope of seeing Bachchan greet them again this coming Sunday.
