Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is currently in judicial custody along with his wife, Shwetambari Bhatt, due to a cheating case involving ₹30 crore. Recently, he has faced new accusations regarding unpaid fees for his 2023 film “1920: Horrors of the Heart.”

Parag Chadha, the casting director of the film, has come forward, claiming that he has not received his professional fees. Following his remarks, several actors and crew members associated with the film have also reported similar issues with unpaid wages.

In an interview, Parag shared that all of his fees remain unpaid, despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter over the years. “100% of my fees is pending,” he mentioned, explaining that he previously chose not to address the issue out of concern for his career.

Parag noted that he has received email confirmations about the pending payments, yet none of the dues have been settled. He expressed a sense of resignation, stating, “I’ve written this money off as bad debt. Speaking out is not about recovering it; it’s about raising awareness.”

In light of Parag’s claims, other cast and crew members of “1920: Horrors of the Heart” have also reported not receiving payments owed to them. Some indicated that vendors and newer actors connected to the project are in a similar situation, despite the film reportedly earning between ₹17–18 crore at the box office.

As of now, Vikram Bhatt and his representatives have not publicly responded to these allegations.

This situation adds to the ongoing legal challenges facing Bhatt, as investigations into the fraud case continue.
