Shukla Kumar, the wife of the renowned actor Rajendra Kumar and mother of actor Kumar Gaurav, has sadly passed away. This news has deeply saddened both the film industry and fans of the Kumar family. A prayer meeting in her honor is set to take place on January 10, as per sources close to the family.
Though Shukla Kumar preferred to stay out of the public eye, she was a significant support in one of Bollywood’s most esteemed families. Married to Rajendra Kumar, affectionately known as “Jubilee Kumar” for his impressive box-office success, she witnessed the evolution of Hindi cinema from a unique perspective. Her steady presence offered support throughout both the peaks and valleys of stardom.
Kumar Gaurav, her son, made a remarkable entry into the film world with his 1981 movie Love Story, co-starring Vijeta Pandit. This film catapulted him to fame and is still regarded as one of the most successful debut films in Hindi cinema.
