DATE MENA 2025: Driving Digital Transformation in the Region
Dubai, UAE – On November 29, 2025, the DATE MENA 2025 Summit took place at Madinat Jumeirah, gathering top tech leaders, innovators, and investors to explore advancements in technology. Organized by Trescon, this event focused on digitization, AI, and emerging technologies, coinciding with the Climate Action, Renewable Energy, and Sustainability Forum (CARE).
Kicking off the event, Sanjiv Singh, Chief Strategy Officer at Trescon, delivered an inspiring speech that set the tone for two days filled with discussions, demonstrations, and collaborations. He emphasized the region’s shift from experimentation to impactful solutions in technology.
Dr. Marwan AlZarouni, CEO of AI at Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, highlighted the role of AI and blockchain in bolstering Dubai’s digital economy during his keynote address.
Reflecting on the summit, Naveen Bharadwaj, CEO of Trescon, noted that DATE MENA showcased the region’s ambition and talent, predicting that the dialogues and collaborations witnessed would accelerate digital growth in MENA.
The summit created a platform for significant conversations around AI adoption, enterprise transformation, and cybersecurity, engaging over 1,000 attendees, including notable industry leaders. The sessions provided actionable insights and fostered partnerships among participants.

A notable highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Digital MENA and the Dubai Blockchain Center, intended to enhance collaboration for digital innovation.
The event saw participation from enterprise decision-makers and investors, focusing on collaboration opportunities that can lead to substantial impact across sectors.

In a dedicated segment, DATE Launchpad provided a venue for participants to share insights and unveil new innovations. The FutureTech World Cup featured five leading start-ups, with Synapse HealthTech recognized for its groundbreaking healthcare solutions.
Throughout the exhibition halls, delegates engaged with innovators and explored advanced tech solutions, paving the way for future partnerships. Workshops and discussions offered practical strategies for implementing AI systems in business operations.
