Dharmendra’s Health Update: Family Confirms He is Stable
Legendary actor Dharmendra is currently in stable condition at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, according to his family. Amid growing concerns about his health, including rumors suggesting he was on a ventilator, sources close to the actor and his son Sunny Deol have clarified that these claims are untrue, asking the public for privacy during this time.
During a recent visit to his father, Sunny Deol reassured fans that Dharmendra is recovering well. A representative for the Deol family stated, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. We will provide updates as necessary. We appreciate everyone’s prayers and ask for respect regarding our family’s privacy.”
His wife, Hema Malini, was also seen at the hospital, sharing her optimism for a quick recovery, saying, “We’re hoping for his speedy recovery.” The beloved actor, often referred to as the “He-Man of Bollywood,” has been undergoing regular health check-ups, which had raised some alarm among his fans.
Despite some reports claiming that he experienced breathlessness and was moved to the ICU, both his medical team and family have reiterated that he is stable and receiving appropriate care.
Dharmendra, who will celebrate his 90th birthday this December, remains a cherished figure in Indian cinema with a career that spans over sixty years. He has recently appeared in the song “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” and is set to star in the upcoming film Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan.
