Salman Khan recently made waves at the prestigious Joy Forum 2025 held in Saudi Arabia, where he shared the stage with fellow actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. This event, renowned for gathering top personalities from the entertainment industry, showcased a rare and engaging conversation among the three stars, which quickly captured attention on social media.

During their discussion, the talk focused on the growth of Indian cinema and its expanding reach worldwide. However, it was one specific comment from Salman that ignited a flurry of online chatter. He noted the increasing popularity of Indian films in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the diverse communities that contribute to the country’s thriving entertainment scene.

Salman remarked, “If you release a Hindi film here in Saudi Arabia, it will be a major hit. Tamil, Telugu, or Malayali films will also perform exceptionally well because of the many people from different countries who work here. There are people from Balochistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan… everyone is working here.”

Following the release of this clip on social media, reactions poured in. Many users speculated whether Salman’s mention of Balochistan was a slip of the tongue or a deliberate comment. Some pointed out that Balochistan is a region and not a separate country, raising questions about the actor’s geopolitical understanding. Conversely, others defended him, arguing that his statement was likely misunderstood and intended to acknowledge the multicultural workforce in the region.

Despite the mixed responses, this moment has added another chapter to Salman Khan’s list of memorable public appearances. On the professional front, he is gearing up for his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, which is based on true events. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, this high-energy drama features actress Chitrangda Singh alongside a talented cast. Filming is currently in progress, generating excitement among fans eager to see Salman in a striking new role.

As discussions around his comments from the Joy Forum continue to make headlines, one thing is clear: Salman Khan knows how to capture attention, both on-screen and off.
