Prime Video Reveals Trailer for New Series “Do You Wanna Partner”

Prime Video has launched the trailer for its upcoming Hindi original comedy-drama series, “Do You Wanna Partner,” featuring Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty in the lead roles. This eagerly awaited show will make its debut in India and across 240 countries on September 12.

The series, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and backed by notable figures like Karan Johar and Adar Poonawalla, is brought to life under the direction of Archit Kumar and Collin D’Cunha. The script is crafted by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gangopadhyay, with creation contributions from Gangopadhyay and Nishant Nayak. The impressive cast also includes Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha.

The trailer offers a fun and energetic glimpse into the lives of best friends Shikha (Tamannaah Bhatia) and Anahita (Diana Penty). Eager to dive into the competitive world of start-ups, they set out to launch their own craft beer brand, only to face quirky investors and unexpected chaos along the way. At its core, the show celebrates friendship, ambition, and the ups and downs of making dreams come true.

Tamannaah Bhatia expressed her excitement, saying, “Do You Wanna Partner is one of the most layered yet enjoyable shows I’ve worked on. It highlights female friendships without pitting women against men. It’s about friendship, hustle, and the bravery to pursue the craziest dreams. Playing Shikha alongside this fantastic cast has truly changed me, and I’m thrilled to share this adventure with audiences around the globe.”

Diana Penty added, “The authentic bond between the two female leads captivated me right away. This series not only showcases the entrepreneurial journey but also beautifully captures the magic of collaboration and friendship. Playing Anahita, a resilient woman chasing her dreams, has been empowering. This series is a true labor of love, and I’m excited for everyone to experience this celebration of friendship and business.”

Director Collin D’Cunha shared, “Directing this series has been a thrilling journey. The story emphasizes female friendship and the entrepreneurial spirit. It portrays two best friends challenging societal norms while crafting their unique path. Our goal was to depict the beautiful chaos of collaboration in life, and I believe we’ve created something truly special with the amazing cast, all set to premiere on September 12.”

Executive producer Archit Kumar added, “What excited me most was sharing a story about women confidently pursuing their ambitions in a male-dominated field with humor and honesty. Through our research on women entrepreneurs, we struck a relatable tone. The chemistry among the cast has been crucial in breathing life into our story, and we can’t wait for viewers to partake in this vibrant experience.”

“Do You Wanna Partner” promises a delightful mix of comedy and drama, offering a fresh perspective on friendship and the entrepreneurial hustle, adding to Prime Video’s diverse content library.
