Archana Puran Singh often shares family moments through her daily vlogs on YouTube. In her latest video, she took viewers along on a family trip to Dubai with her husband, Parmeet Sethi, and their sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan. Unfortunately, during their holiday, they fell victim to an online scam while trying to book tickets for indoor skydiving.
In the vlog, Archana and her family were excited to try indoor skydiving at iFly Dubai. However, they were shocked to find out that there was no reservation made under their name when they arrived. Archana explained, “We booked three slots at iFly Dubai, but the staff is saying there is no booking. We have been scammed because the website we used isn’t legitimate. We already paid, and the tickets were expensive… Our money has gone down the drain in Dubai. I never expected this to happen here, especially with such strict laws in place.”
Parmeet shared his disbelief, commenting, “I can’t believe it… We’ve lost thousands of rupees… Who knew this was a scam?” Aaryamann also noted that he had his doubts while booking, as the ride duration changed from 4 minutes to 2 minutes on the site. However, he didn’t investigate further, assuming a scam was unlikely from what he thought was an official site.
