In a touching development, Bollywood icon Aamir Khan is about to share the screen with two significant women in his life: his 90-year-old mother, Zeenat Hussain, and his sister, Nikhat Khan, in the upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par.

Sources associated with the film have revealed that this will be Zeenat Hussain’s first appearance on screen, creating a heartfelt moment in Aamir’s impressive career. His sister, Nikhat Khan, who has been gaining recognition in recent projects, will also join them, adding a personal touch to the film.

Although specific details about their roles are still under wraps, their involvement adds an emotional layer to Sitaare Zameen Par, which is being referred to as a spiritual sequel to the beloved 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the movie stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, along with ten new child actors, and is set to hit theaters on June 20, 2025.

This isn’t the first time Aamir has connected his personal life with his work, but featuring his elderly mother is a particularly heartfelt gesture. Although Zeenat has mostly stayed out of the public eye, her role in Sitaare Zameen Par is seen as a celebration of family and love.

Nikhat Khan, recognized for her roles in films like Mission Mangal and Saand Ki Aankh, is gradually becoming more visible in the industry. Her participation in this film is expected to enhance its emotional narrative and familial warmth.

With music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics from Amitabh Bhattacharya, Sitaare Zameen Par is poised to be an emotional and musical experience. The inclusion of Aamir’s own family members is sure to add significant depth to the story.

As the release date approaches, film enthusiasts are eager to see how these personal elements will be integrated into the plot and how they will resonate with Aamir’s fans, who have cherished both his career and family over the years.
