Sudha Reddy Appointed as Global Ambassador for Miss World
Sudha Reddy, the Chairperson of the Sudha Reddy Foundation and Director of Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL), has been appointed as the Global Ambassador for the Miss World Organisation. This announcement was made during the finale of the 72nd Miss World Festival, marking a significant milestone for the organization.
As the Global Ambassador for "Beauty With A Purpose," the charity branch of Miss World, Reddy will work on outreach initiatives and projects in various countries. Her goal is to promote humanitarian efforts and share meaningful stories from around the world, which will help extend the organization’s positive impact.
Sudha Reddy also played a key role as a jury member in the Miss World 2025 Grand Finale, contributing her insights during the selection of the titleholder.
Before the main event, she hosted the Beauty With A Purpose Gala at her estate, Mon Amour Palais, where 108 contestants gathered. This event was broadcasted in Times Square, marking a proud moment for her home state of Telangana.
In her heartfelt remarks, Reddy expressed gratitude to the Miss World Organisation and emphasized values that resonate deeply with her, such as compassion and selfless giving. Wearing a traditional outfit by Tarun Tahiliani, she highlighted her belief that the world is one family and stressed the importance of kindness and love in driving change.
Julia Morley, the Chairperson and Founder of the Miss World Organisation, presented the honorary title to Reddy and praised her dedication to humanitarian work.
