In an unexpected turn, Salman Khan will be teaming up with director Apoorva Lakhia for his upcoming project, breaking away from his usual collaborators like Ali Abbas Zafar and Kabir Khan. This new venture is gaining buzz, especially as Lakhia has started scouting locations in the stunning landscapes of Leh-Ladakh, suggesting a grand vision for the film.

Reports indicate that the team is aiming to kick off production in July 2025. They are also in discussions with Saqib Saleem, who previously shared the screen with Salman in the 2018 film Race 3, to join the cast in a pivotal role. According to sources, Saqib’s part will portray an army officer, and both Salman and Apoorva will oversee his look test before finalizing the casting.

Salman is taking a hands-on approach to the casting for this film, ensuring that everything is on point. The film is expected to feature a strong ensemble cast that includes several young actors. While discussions have begun with Sooraj Pancholi for an important role, it seems the director prefers not to include him at this time.

This film will mark Salman’s first portrayal as an army officer. With filming set to commence in July, audiences can look forward to its release in 2026.
