Actress Preity Zinta is feeling upset about fake images circulating on social media that falsely show her with 14-year-old cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi from the Rajasthan Royals. She expressed her shock at how many people believe these misleading images. On Monday, several videos and photos appeared online, claiming to show a meeting between Preity and Vaibhav in Jaipur, including a widely shared image of them talking and hugging at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Following the attention the hugging image received, Preity took to social media to clarify that these images were not real.

In her post, she shared a news article featuring the altered image and wrote, “This is a morphed image and fake news. I’m surprised that even news channels are using such images as real news.” She also linked to a local news report that mentioned the same video, captioning it as “Fake news with morphed image.”

Earlier that day, the official Rajasthan Royals’ account on X (formerly Twitter) had posted a video of Preity meeting Vaibhav, commenting, “Flex levels at school: Vaibhav Suryavanshi.” In the video, Preity is seen chatting with player Yashasvi Jaiswal before stating she wanted to meet Vaibhav, saying, “Come, let’s go say hi to him.” The two briefly conversed, and Vaibhav shook her hand, but the clip did not include any hugging.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a promising young cricketer with the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, hails from Maharashtra and has already made a name for himself through his impressive skills. Fans and coaches have high hopes for his future. His recent meeting with Preity has further increased his popularity among cricket fans.
