Tinaa Dattaa Ignites Debate with Bold Take on Pakistan’s Jet Claims: “I Couldn’t Care Less, Unfollow If You Disagree”

Television actress Tinaa Dattaa, renowned for her role in the hit show Uttaran, sparked a significant online debate this week. She took to Instagram to respond to Pakistan’s claims of shooting down Indian fighter jets, stating, “Pakistan is claiming that they shot down Indian jets to showcase their military strength. I wish they focused instead on eliminating terror camps in their territory; that would earn them more respect globally.” Her post quickly drew both support and criticism from followers.

Following her statement, many users on Instagram threatened to unfollow her. One particularly harsh comment read, “Unfollowing you to be andhbhakt urine drunk people.” Tinaa didn’t hold back, replying, “Why stay in Bharat if you have so many issues with this country?” Her response set the tone for a series of bold messages where she stood firm in her beliefs.

As negative comments continued, Tinaa addressed the unfollow threats directly in another post. She wrote, “To those threatening to unfollow me, you should have done so by now. I don’t care. My stance on India and our Prime Minister’s actions against terrorism remains unchanged. Please unfollow; I don’t know you or need your support. Go find something productive to do; just leave.”

Tinaa’s strong response comes during a time of heightened national sentiment following Operation Sindoor, a major move by the Indian Armed Forces targeting terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. This operation was launched in retaliation for a recent terror attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the loss of 26 civilian lives. Several celebrities, including Hina Khan and Karan Tacker, voiced their support for the government and armed forces, but Tinaa has been particularly vocal in engaging with her critics, making her viewpoint clear.
